December 6, 2011: Closing The Book On Illuminati Online

A few months ago I reported on the demise of io.com as an ISP. End of an era, and all that.

Recently, I heard from Kendrick Kerwin Chua, a former Illuminati Online user. He pointed out that our A Brief History of the Illuminati BBS page was several years out of date. And he didn’t just tell me about the problem; he offered a fix, bringing the story to its end with a good account of the intervening years and the acquisition of the io.com domain by a non-ISP company.
