January 16, 2011: Getting Ready For Convention Season

PAX East is in March, but New York Toy Fair is a month earlier. The event submissions for both GenCon and Origins can be submitted later this month. And buying your airline tickets six months in advance can save you money . . .

What's the conclusion here? The convention season really begins in January, not June like one would normally think.
