August 23, 2011: I Psi With My Third Eye. . . that we've finally completed a long-awaited set of GURPS Fourth Edition supplements. Specifically, we've released GURPS Psi-Tech, by David Pulver – a catalog of the unusual, astonishing, and frequently creepy technology that tends to accompany psionic powers in fiction. Not just Kirlian cameras and psi-amplifiers, but also disembodied brains and luck-leeching karmic collectors. And, of course, the drugs They put in the water to keep our minds from awakening and seeing Them. The other items in the set are GURPS Psionic Powers, GURPS Psionic Campaigns, and GURPS Psis, all by Jason "PK" Levine. These cover, respectively, psi abilities, how to fit them into a game world, and how to design characters around them. Add in the gadgetry from Psi-Tech and you have everything you need for a campaign that features or even completely revolves around psionics. Of course, not everybody has the full set yet, and there may well be future supplements to support these books, so we've decided that it would be best to create a special Psionics product category page for the whole lineup. It even sneaks in a mention of GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 14: Psi, by Yours Truly. If this is the first you've heard of these successors to the venerable GURPS Psionics, then why not take a look? -- Sean Punch Share this post! |
